Farewell 2018 Graphic Design Hello 2019 With 2018 coming to a close this has been on interesting year of eComm projects. Graphic design has been a ride in itself. Learning from pop art to making a panorama image. so lets not waist time with small read an instead read about how we are thriving in e-Comm graphic design! :)  Panorama Project The project itself was pretty self explanatory we had to create a panorama image about a happy moment in our life and why they where important to us for me it was a day I went to take pictures of my family in a sunflower patch. For this project I spent around two weeks putting it all together who knew after week one I would scratch the idea using my room to instead adding a picture of my family. As I would work I knew that things would be okay and I would end up getting all my things together. in the end I was glad I switch my topic because if I didn't then we wouldn't have a nice centerpiece in our living room. POP Art o...

Watercolor Transferring Print  By Kenia Diaz  e-Comm has been a challenge lately. In video we have been trying to get a good feature film and in graphic design we are making fall icons. Its seems nice when we finally take some time to paint with water colors and and some of our favorite e-Comm project in graphic design. I decided to do one of my favorite projects which is the sunflower patch. It reminds me of a happy time in my life when I was surrounded by the things I love the most. The process of water transfer was kinda had but easy as well. We first ha dot chose one of out pieces that we want to transfer and later edit is to fit in a 4 x 6 picture. We later than had to flip it so when we lifted the paper it was the right way. We later had to use mod lodge  and layer it and we used a squeegee to spread the glue evenly.

Alex Pauli Interview

Alex Pauli JV Adventure By Kenia Diaz Filming In Process  In video each person has their role and if one person lacks the whole team falls behind. In this video I learned that I will NEVER and I mean NEVER chose a group with my friends and pease remind me that next time. I learned that in this video some people are going want to prove that they are worthy for what they want and it usually comes at a cost and thats okay if you doing bring your feelings into it. This video was taken over the period of THREE day. In my opinion It doesn't take three days to ask 20 questions but in my team when you can't have a director that doesn't take charge and leave for three days and when he gets back he relies that the rest of his group is done and he doesn't have to do anything. After attempting to fit and finding that audio was missing and that in one time we didn't even press record we finally got the video to recored and got audio that wasn't the best. Cutt...

Smiles in The Sunflower State By:Kenia Diaz For graphic design we had to make a panorama project about a happy memory that we had. for me it was a happy day in the sunflower state. My family and I went to go take pictures in a sunflower patch that made me happy because it gave me an excuse to not be in family pictures and instead take them.  For this project I gathered up 10 or so to take to take and out of those I decided to use my older sister as my subject for the project.

Type of Printing By: Kenia Diaz There are many different types of ways to print and in graphic design we wanted to know what the difference where between relief, intaglio, and lithography printing. Relief Process The first one we are going to talk about is relief process. In relief printing you use types of different woods and metals as well. To print it would would cut out the negative space to define the lines like the actual drawing. Intaglio Process Intaglio printing is the very opposite of relief printing. Unlike relief printing intaglio printing is different because the ink is below the surface of the plate. Many times for the printing surface or the printing space is made of copper, zink, aluminum, magnesium, and sometimes plastic.  Lithography Process  Lithography printing was originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. Printing originally began with stones and then later evolved into metal plates and smoother surfaces.

POP Art

A Splash of Color With Pop! By:Kenia Diaz In graphic design we where supposed to do a photoshop project using pop art. As you can see I used my friend Grant (thanks Grant) as my subject. I decided to make him POP by using a bright background and highlighting his hair by adding yellow. I decided to make his eye pop as well by adding blue to his eyes

Nature Man Challenge

Nature Man Challenge By: Kenia Diaz In one of the e-Comm branches (graphic design) something very important to work with is photoshop so when we where assigned to use what we learned in photoshop to design a so called 'nature man' we got started and let our imaginations run wild. For my project I decide to work more one the background instead of the actual man. This is because everyone was going to do something with his hair of his jacket so knowing this I knew that not many people where gonna do something with the background. for the background I used a water color picture bring a pop of color because the everything else was either white or brown. Not much to work with. After bringing some color to the picture I decide to edit the shirt and use a picture of a house and lower the opacity just a tad to help show the buttons and the sew lines. For this I also used the patch tool to take a few things that wouldn't look to good on the final product. Having a require...
